手島呉東 真筆 水墨南画 尺五立紙本 （収納桐箱付）呉市仁方町（旧賀茂郡仁方村）出身画家 日本製

        軸装、Ｗ、５２０ｍｍ ｘ Ｌ、２,２００ｍｍ

        軸先、９分（２７ｍｍ直径）木製

材質：西陣緞子（日本製）

                  作者略歴：

芸州賀茂郡仁方村の庄屋、手島浦太郎（号松波）の次男として文久二年（1862）に生まれる。

欲称を謹一郎と云った。幼児より詩画を好んで大阪の南宋の大家、森琴石（1843～1921）に師事。

始め、手島秀谷と唱えた。後、香石と号し、壮年期、素岳（そかく）、還暦を迎えた時から、呉東（ごとう）と唱えた。

本朝古今書画名家詳伝（明治27年刊）

日本名画選（昭和５年刊）

帝国古書画便覧（昭和８年刊）などに名を残した。  昭和11年（1936）没。

コメント：平生掛の掛軸として使用。

            時代品です。よって使用感があります。

             時代の染みが少し見えます。

      丸表装・一文字筋廻しの高級軸装です。

           仕上がり状態は写真参照。
