       今井俊満さんがシルクスクリーンの版画で制作した和の絵「竜田川」は、1986年に制作された和の絵のシルクスクリーンの版画。 1950年代にパリでアンフォルメル運動に参加し、精力的に絵画を制作していた今井俊満さんは、 1985年頃より日本の伝統美とアンフォルメルを融合させた「花鳥風月」シリーズを発表。 今井俊満さんの和の絵のシルクスクリーンの版画「竜田川」は、その「花鳥風月」シリーズの一つ。 華やかでモダンな、この和の絵のシルクスクリーンの版画は、四季や日本の美を再認識させてくれる素晴らしい作品。 この和の絵のシルクスクリーンの版画のタイトルになっている「竜田川」とは、奈良県を流れる大和川水系の支流で、古来より紅葉の名所として名高い所。 とくに下流は紅葉の美しさから、歌枕として多くの和歌に詠まれている。 中でも古今和歌集の中の在原業平の和歌「ちはやぶる神世も聞かず竜田川からくれなゐに水くくるとは」は特に有名。
