    少なくとも江戸時代から伝わる、伝　雪舟の破墨富士図です。 掛軸の面白さは、広げるまで見えないところにもあるように思います。

    紐を掛けて、するすると広げていくと
    眼前に富士の峰が見えて来る。
    さらに広げると、山、森、仏閣が見えてくる。

    そして橋と、川、富士川でしょうか。
    そこに小舟に乗った人が、なにか荷物を運んでいるようです。

    ここには、室町以前から、江戸時代まで続いていた 日本の風土が描かれています。

    このお軸を広げると、時間と空間が変容する感覚を覚えます。

    本紙は、長い長い時間を経てできた皺が横にいくつも入っています。茶人はこの侘びた風情を好んで、表装を直す時でも、あえて残すそうです。

    この脈々と続いてきた、日本の風土を眺めながらの一服。 思いを馳せる至福の時を、過ごしてみてはらいかがでしょうか。
