    1922年-1994年
    岡山県生まれ。1948年 東京美術学校師範科卒。同年、第４回日展に初入選。
    1952年 光風会第38回展入選
    1957年 光風会第43回展プルーヴ賞受賞
    1971年 第14回安井賞佳作賞受賞
    1973年 第21回エッセイストクラブ賞／美術出版社ADC賞受賞
    1977年 スイス バーゼルのクンストメッセに出品し、3カ月渡欧。（～’79毎年出品）
    1994年 逝去。享年72。
    生涯渡欧を重ね、国内外問わず多数の個展を開催、画集・著書を刊行。他界したあとも絶大な人気を誇る。
