略歴	1945年　長野県小布施に生まれる　東京芸術大学大学院修了 1969年　第54回院展初入選 1970年　神奈川県美術展でＫ氏賞受賞 1977年　第32回春の院展、第62回院展でそれぞれ奨励賞受賞、以後数回受賞 1979年　第5回山種美術館賞展にて優秀賞受賞 1980年　第2回日本秀作美術展に選抜出品 1992年　長野県におぶせミュージアム・中島千波館開館日本国内のみならず、海外の権威ある展覧会に出品、受賞を重ね、日本美術院特待となる屏風絵などの大作も多く、鎌倉・鶴が岡八幡宮斎官貴賓室床の間壁画や横浜三溪園臨春閣の襖絵などが知られている現在、東京芸術大学美術学部デザイン科教授
