    【作家紹介】

    １９４６年、静岡県生まれ。１９６４年、東洋美術学校に学ぶ。１９６９年、フリーのイラストレーターとして仕事を始める。秋田書店、集英社、芳文社などで仕事をする。１９７０年、「週刊漫画TIMES」の表紙イラストを描き始める。１９７４年、三越ポスター、レコードジャケットなど広告関係のイラストを始める。１９８１年、サントリービールのペンギンシリーズ、東京ディズニーランドのポスターなど、CMの仕事を始める。アニメーション映画「幸福物語 ペンギンズメモリー」「銀河鉄道の夜」の背景制作参加。１９９０年、教育絵本「たのしいこっき」「はじめましてせかいちず」「たのしいあいうえお」などを平凡社より出版する。１９９８年、キリンジュースのパッケージイラスト・雑誌表紙・パズル用イラスト・CM日清食品（出前一丁）の背景イラストなど。
