    【作家プロフィール】
    松井ヨシアキ　Yoshiaki Matsui
    まつい・よしあき　１９４７年生まれ、福井県出身の洋画家です。 
    パリをテーマとした油彩画で知られ、独特で軽快なタッチものと、リズムに溢れ軽快な街並みや、郷愁を誘う風景やドラマを感じるパリの夜景などで人気があります。

    幼児期に結核を患った際、抗生剤の副作用から難聴となり、20代で完全に聴力を失う逆境の中で画家となり、長い間支持される人気の画家となりました。
    美術系の大学などには通わず独学で絵の技術を研鑽し、グラフィックデザイナーや画塾のデッサン講師なども経て、
    1972年の大手町画廊での個展から本格的に画家として活動を始めます。
    日本の洋画界を1928年の創立から牽引してきた銀座の日動画廊において毎年個展を開催し、1980年には銅版画集「夜の箱」を出版。1984年に日動画廊主催の若手公募展・昭和会にて昭和会賞を受賞しました。
    そして1995年には、幼少時からの憧憬の街・パリの日動画廊での個展開催を成功させます。
    またほぼ毎年パリに滞在し作品制作を行うようになり、2006年から「パリの長い一日」「パリの靄」「パリに音楽は流れる」などパリをテーマとした画集を刊行しました。
    街角の音楽家やダンスホールを描いた作品の躍動感は、そこに確かに音楽があることが感じられ、音を感じ取り描き出す画家の感性は素晴らしく、長い間支持される所以と言えるでしょう。
    70歳を超えた現在もパリをテーマとした作品の製作に邁進され、さらにシンプルな表現に関心を広げるなど、旺盛な活動を続けています。
