    1925年サンフランシスコ生まれ、世界第二次大戦終了の1945年 に女性師団の一員としてベルリンに最初に入った米国人の一人、米国に帰国後はジョンホプキンス大学で絵の教鞭をとり、ソサエティーオブウェスタンアーチストなど米国を代表するアート団体の理事に名を連ねた、サンフランシスコ美術館、クリープランド美術館、ボルチモア美術館、デヤンゴ美術館など米国を代表する美術館で数多くの個展が開催され、多くの輝かしい賞を受賞
