【IMPORTANT】 Impact of Middle East Conflict on International Shipping

Due to the escalating conflict in the Middle East, there have been several impacts affecting international shipping through various couriers, as further explained below.

Japan Post:


There have been significant shipping delays for parcels shipped via Japan Post to the following regions:

・The entire European region

・The entire African region


There is also a possibility that parcels heading towards these regions may be returned-to-sender.


We have only had parcels returned for the following countries, and have therefore temporarily suspended Japan Post shipments for those countries.

・Ireland

DHL/UPS:


Due to the closing of the Strait of Hormuz in Iran and the subsequent scarcity of oil, fuel/oil prices have been surging globally.


As such, shipping prices for DHL and UPS have increased accordingly.
