May is quickly approaching, and you know what that means…Golden Week! Golden Week is one of the longer holiday periods in Japan, and includes Shōwa Day (4/29), Constitution Memorial Day (5/3), Greenery Day (5/4), and Children’s Day (5/5). However, many Japanese companies will likely be closed from Monday, April 28th to take advantage of the long holiday. The Customer Service and Warehouse Teams will be out of the office on: ・　April 29th, 2025 for Shōwa Day ・　May 5th, 2025 for Children’s Day ・　May 6th, 2025 for Greenery Day (observed) The Purchase Team will be working their usual hours of 9 AM to 6 PM JST throughout the break, so feel free to bid and buy as much as you’d like! Since the holiday is on the longer side, please keep in mind that many shops, logistics centers, and domestic shipping providers will be either closed or working with limited staff during Golden Week. Because of this, there will likely be some delays with order processing and shipping during this time. We expect it may take up to a week to clear the backlog, so processing times are likely to be slower during the first week after the holiday.
